PT Certisindo was established in Jakarta during May 1997 when the first name was given as PT.CISCOMAS Sekurititama was a joint venture between PT.Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk and Certis Cisco Security Pte Ltd, Singapore’s leading security Organization since 1958.

PT Ciscomas Sekurititama name was changed at 13 May 2008, to become "PT. Certis Cisco" in accordance with the head office name. and changed become PT. CERTIS on 24 February 2011. The name "Certis" is taken from the Latin word, "certe" which means assurance, a quality that over the years has become a distinguished characteristic of the company, where standard operating procedure implemented by PT. Certis adopted from Certis International Pte, Ltd. adjusted for Indonesian culture and conditions.
PT.Certis was changed to PT.Certisindo in October 2015. As a Majority share is Sertisindo, PTE.LTD, home based in Singapore .
To improve the quality of our services, in May 2016 Cersindo achieved ISO 9001 Quality Management System and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System, as proof of the company’s ongoing efforts to keep on improving, expanding and providing the best services to our customers
